The Quanta Thunder Series is a high-power aesthetic laser system operating on a 200–240 Vac (50–60 Hz, 6 kVA) power supply, housed in a unit measuring 652 mm (W) × 935 mm (D) × 1124 mm (H) and weighing 180 kg. It delivers two primary wavelengths—an Alexandrite 755 nm and an Nd:YAG 1064 nm—with adjustable pulse durations ranging from 0.3 ms to 300 ms and maximum fluences up to 500 J/cm² for both sources. Energy delivery is highly customizable, utilizing traditional handpieces with superelliptical spot sizes ranging from 2 mm to 24 mm, alongside the OptiScan TH scanner handpiece that covers scanning areas up to 29 cm². Operating speeds reach repetition rates of up to 10 Hz with standard handpieces (7 Hz in Mixed Technology mode) and accelerate up to 15 Hz when paired with the scanner (10 Hz in Mixed mode), enabling full-body treatments in under an hour.
